LEARNINGS
5TH September-2007
1. It’s a story from Tansen’s story published in Sambad. Some people wanted to eliminate Tansen and had asked him to sing Raag Deepak , where the singer dies after singing in the fire it creates with the fire . learning this from Tansen , his daughter started learning Rag malhar. On the day of testing while Tansen was successful in lighting all the lamps of the kingdom with the Raga , he himself was feeling the burn in him .his daughter and her friend started singing Megha malhar raga creating Rain and saving her father .
Point of Learning: True learning can save the world from the evils.
2. In the letters to the Editor in Sambad , Nirmal Kumar Rana from Boudh has rightly pointed out that education is not for coring high numbers in the examination . Congrats to him . I have written a post card to him today .
